Biography
Jason C. Buckel was born in Allegany County on November 3, 1971. He is an attorney and managing partner at Buckel, Lavasseur & Pillai, LLC. First elected to the Maryland House of Delegates in 2014, he has served as a member since 2015 and currently serves as the Minority Leader. His public service career includes roles on the Task Force to Study Maryland Orphans Court, the Task Force on the Economic Future of Western Maryland, the Task Force to Study Tax Sales in Maryland, and the Maryland Redistricting Reform Commission.
