Biography
Born in Cheverly, Maryland, Mary A. Lehman is a journalist. She previously served as an educational liaison to Prince George's County Council member Thomas E. Dernoga from 2003 to 2007, and as a legislative aide to Delegate Joseline Pena-Melnyk from 2007 to 2010. She also served on the Prince George's County Council from 2010 to 2018. Her public service includes roles with the Maryland Children's Environmental Health and Protection Advisory Council, the Prince George's County Board of Health, and various committees for the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments. She is a member of the Maryland Legislative Transit Caucus and the Laurel Rotary Club.
