David Gottfried (Democratic Party) is a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives, representing District 40B. He assumed office on March 17, 2025. His current term ends on January 12, 2027. Gottfried (Democratic Party) ran in a special election to the Minnesota House of Representatives to represent District 40B. David Gottfried was scheduled to be on the ballot in the January 28, 2025, special election for Minnesota House of Representatives District 40B, but the race was canceled by an order from the Minnesota Supreme Court on January 18, 2025.
