Biography

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Charlotte Crutchfield received her B.A. in Economics from Howard University in 1986 and her J.D. from Boston College Law School in 1989. Her professional background includes service as an Assistant State's Attorney for Montgomery County from 1991 to 1992, staff and Associate General Counsel for Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation from 1993 to 2002, and Senior Manager of Employee Relations for General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems from 2002 to 2006. She has also served on the Montgomery County Council Merit System Protection Board and currently practices employment law. First elected to the Maryland House of Delegates in 2018, she has served in the chamber since 2019.
