Biography

State Representative Michele Grim is serving her second term in the Ohio House, representing House District 43, which encompasses part of Lucas County. Prior to her election to the Ohio House, Michele served as an at-large member of Toledo City Council, spearheading Toledo’s groundbreaking medical debt relief initiative with Lucas County and working to strengthen medical care for the underserved. She previously served in public health roles in government, university research, and with nonprofit healthcare providers. Dr. Michele Grim is a graduate of the University of Toledo with a bachelor’s degree in women and gender studies and a master’s degree in public health and earned her doctorate in law and policy from Northeastern University.
