Born in Salt Lake City, Utah; current resident of Hailey, Idaho. Served 27 years as a firefighter and paramedic with Wood River Fire & Rescue (rank of captain) and Ketchum Fire Department; served one year on Blaine County Planning and Zoning Commission; more than 30 years of volunteer service with crisis hotline, Mountain Humane, Wood River Trails Coalition, and Wood River Land Trust. Eagle Scout; received the President’s Volunteer Service Award in recognition of public service (2022).
