Biography
Jamila J. Woods was elected to the Maryland General Assembly in November 2022 and has been a member of the House of Delegates since January 11, 2023. She has served as an investigative hotline social worker for the Washington, D.C. Child and Family Services Agency, Child Protective Services, since 2002. Additionally, she has served as the President/CEO of Gabriel's Lyric Therapeutic Services, LLC, since 2014. She is an ordained Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church and has served as a pastor since 2005, currently leading the Jabez Christian Community Church in White Plains, Maryland.
