Biography

Meghan E. Kallman is a Democrat representing District 15 (Pawtucket, Providence) in the Rhode Island Senate. She served two terms on the Pawtucket City Council prior to being elected to the Senate in November 2020. During her time in the General Assembly, Sen. Kallman has advanced legislation related to housing, climate action, transportation and other issues. She previously served on the State Housing Appeals Board, the Pawtucket Juvenile Hearing Board and as a fellow with the Women’s Police Institute. She is a community organizer and founder of Crash Pawtucket, a local business showcase. She is also a founding member of the Climate Jobs RI coalition.
