Thomas Exum was born in and lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Exum graduated from William J. Palmer High School in 1970. He earned a B.S. in social science from the University of Southern Colorado in 1994. His career experience includes working as a firefighter for the Colorado Springs Fire Department.
