Biography
Born on April 3, 1985, Jared Solomon holds a B.A. in Political Science, History, and Economics from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.A. in Secondary Social Studies from The Johns Hopkins University. He served as a Social Studies Teacher at Northwestern High School in the Baltimore City Public Schools from 2007 to 2009. His professional career also includes roles as a Project Coordinator for the Critical Response Team in D.C. Public Schools, Senior Director of Budget Policy at First Focus, and Legislative Assistant to U.S. Senator Bob Casey. He was first elected to the Maryland House of Delegates in 2018 and has served since January 9, 2019.
