Biography
Born on June 5, 1998, in Annapolis, Maryland, Dylan Behler attended Southern High School in Lothian, Maryland, graduating in 2016. He went on to attend the University of Maryland, receiving a B.A. in Political Science and Government in 2020. His professional career began with internships and campaign roles, including serving as a governmental affairs intern for the AFL-CIO Building and Construction Trades Department in 2017, deputy campaign manager for Friends of Steuart Pittman in 2018, and campaign manager for the Maryland Senate Democratic Caucus in 2022. He spent several years in the office of Maryland Senator Sarah Elfreth, serving as a legislative aide in 2019, legislative director from 2019 to 2020, and chief of staff from 2020 to 2023. Prior to his legislative service, he worked as the Director of Legislative and Constituent Services for the Maryland Department of Natural Resources from 2023 to 2024. In addition to his legislative duties, he has served on the Board of Trustees for the Anne Arundel County Public Library since 2023 and was a member of the Democratic Central Committee for Anne Arundel County from 2019 to 2025.
