Biography

Jack Nelsen was a partner in a dairy and farming operation in Jerome for 45 years. He served as a College of Southern Idaho pep band and classroom music part-time instructor for more than 20 years and was a general music and band teacher for the Wendell School District for three years. His service includes 20 years on the Jerome County Planning and Zoning Commission, where he served as past chair, and membership on the Mid-Snake Water Commission. He served as past chair of the Jerome County Republican Central Committee, as a board member for the College of Southern Idaho Foundation, as past president of the Jerome Rotary Club, and served on the College of Southern Idaho Board of Trustees for six years.
