Biography
Dave Craven (Republican Party) is a member of the North Carolina State Senate, representing District 29. He assumed office on January 1, 2023. His current term ends on January 1, 2027. The Republican primary for this office on March 3, 2026, was canceled. Craven was appointed to the state legislature by Governor Roy Cooper (D) on July 17, 2020, to fill the vacancy created when Jerry W. Tillman (R) resigned. He was also selected to replace Tillman as the Republican Party's nominee in the November 3 general election for the District 26 seat.
