Biography
Jay Chaudhuri (Democratic Party) is a member of the North Carolina State Senate, representing District 15. He assumed office on January 1, 2019. His current term ends on January 1, 2027. The Democratic primary for this office on March 3, 2026, was canceled. Chaudhuri was first appointed to the chamber to represent District 16 on April 19, 2016, but ran in District 15 in 2018 due to redistricting.
