Biography
Lori Berman (Democratic Party) is a member of the Florida State Senate, representing District 26. She assumed office on November 8, 2022. Her current term ends on November 3, 2026. Berman is a former Democratic member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing District 90 from 2010 to 2018. On November 21, 2017, Berman announced that she would resign her state House seat on April 9, 2018, in order to run in a special election for Florida State Senate District 31. Berman was unable to run for re-election in 2018 to the Florida House of Representatives because of term limits. Berman began serving as minority leader of the Florida State Senate on April 24, 2025.
