Biography
Representative Kerri Evelyn Harris serves as Majority Leader in the Delaware House of Representatives and represents the 32nd Representative District. A veteran of the United States Air Force, Representative Harris served during the Iraq War before continuing her commitment to public service through community advocacy and civic engagement across Delaware. Since joining the General Assembly, Representative Harris has focused on advancing legislation and public policy initiatives that support economic development, public education, healthcare access, public safety, veterans, and working families. As Majority Leader, she works closely with members of the House of Representatives to guide legislative priorities and support the effective operation of the chamber. Representative Harris is recognized for her collaborative leadership style and commitment to responsive and effective government. Her work in the General Assembly reflects a focus on community engagement, bipartisan cooperation, and policies that strengthen Delaware’s communities and economy. Having raised her family in Delaware, Representative Harris remains deeply connected to the people and communities she serves.
