Biography
Anne Healey was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania. She is a writer and editor who has worked as a reporter and a college English instructor. Her professional background also includes serving as a former newspaper editor for the Catholic Review, the Prince George's Post-Sentinel, and the Prince George's Post. Healey served on the City Council of the City of Hyattsville from 1987 to 1990 before being first elected to the Maryland House of Delegates in 1990. She has been a member of the House since 1991.
