Biography
Bob Hensgens (Republican Party) is a member of the Louisiana State Senate, representing District 26. He assumed office on December 10, 2018. His current term ends on January 10, 2028. Hensgens is a former Republican member of the Louisiana House of Representatives, representing District 47 from 2011 to 2018. He was first elected to the chamber in a special election on April 30, 2011. He resigned after his election to the state Senate. Hensgens previously served as mayor of Gueydan, LA.
