Biography

Born in Silver Spring, Maryland, on April 15, 1983, Bill Ferguson has been a member of the Maryland Senate since 2011, having been first elected in 2010. He has served as President of the Maryland Senate since January 8, 2020. Throughout his tenure, he has held numerous committee assignments and served on various state task forces and commissions. Outside of his legislative career, he has worked in education reform and as an attorney. He is a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church in Baltimore.
