Biography
Senator Catherine D. Ingram represents Ohio’s 9th Senate District. Prior to her service in the Senate, she served three terms in the Ohio House of Representatives for the 32nd District. She also dedicated more than 20 years to the Cincinnati Board of Education, including service as both president and vice president in the mid-1990s. Senator Ingram earned both her bachelor’s degree and Master of Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati. A committed community leader, she has previously served on numerous boards, including United Way/Community Chest, Leadership Cincinnati, Great Rivers Girl Scout Council, the Greater Cincinnati Black Achiever Award Program, Mayerson Human Resource Academy, and the Cincinnati Recreation Commission.
