Biography
Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Linda Foley graduated from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University with a BS in Journalism in 1977. She is a former journalist and served as the President of the Berger-Marks Foundation from 1996 to 2017. Additionally, she was the National President of The Newspaper Guild-CWA from 1995 to 2008 and served as a consultant for the National Labor Coordinating Committee from 2009 to 2010. She also served as the Secretary-Treasurer of the AFL-CIO Department for Professional Employees from 2003 to 2008. Foley has been a member of the Maryland House of Delegates since December 17, 2021.
