Biography
Jim Carlson (Democratic Party) is a member of the Minnesota State Senate, representing District 52. He assumed office on January 3, 2023. His current term ends on January 5, 2027. Carlson represented Minnesota State Senate District 38 from 2007 to 2011. On October 6, 2025, Carlson announced he would not seek re-election to the Minnesota State Senate District 52 in 2026.
