Biography
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Senator Bryan W. Simonaire graduated from Bob Jones University with a B.S. in Computer Science in 1985, and later earned an M.S. in Engineering Science from Loyola College in 2005. A computer systems engineer, he worked for Westinghouse from 1985 to 1994 and has been a senior engineer at Northrop Grumman Corp. since 1995. He is the founder of Heroes-at-Home and the creator of Simonaire Santas for Abused Children. He has served in the Maryland Senate since 2007, and his past service includes a tenure as Minority Leader from 2020 to 2022. He has participated in numerous public service roles, including serving on the Maryland Cybersecurity Council, the Maryland Health and Human Services Referral Board, and the Governor's Family Violence Council.
