Biography
Christopher McDonald is a judge of the Iowa Supreme Court. He assumed office on April 5, 2019. His current term ends on December 31, 2028. McDonald first became a member of the court by appointment. On February 20, 2019, Gov. Kim Reynolds (R) selected McDonald to succeed retired Justice Daryl Hecht. McDonald joined the court in April 2019. McDonald was a judge on the Iowa Court of Appeals from 2013 to 2019. He was appointed to the court by Governor Terry Branstad (R) in September 2013.
