Biography

Noah Hood (Democratic Party) is a judge of the Michigan Supreme Court. He assumed office on May 21, 2025. His current term ends on January 1, 2027. Hood first became a member of the Michigan Supreme Court through an appointment. Governor of Michigan Gretchen Whitmer (D) first appointed him to the court in 2025 to the seat vacated by Elizabeth Clement (R). Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) appointed Hood to the Michigan Court of Appeals on February 3, 2022, to replace Karen Fort Hood.
