Rachel Wainer Apter

Biography

Rachel Wainer Apter is a judge of the New Jersey Supreme Court. She assumed office on October 21, 2022. Her current term ends on October 21, 2029. Wainer Apter was nominated by Gov. Phil Murphy (D) on March 16, 2021, to succeed Jaynee LaVecchia. She was confirmed by the New Jersey State Senate on October 17, 2022, and sworn in on October 21, 2022.
