Brett Busby (Republican Party) is a judge for Place 8 of the Texas Supreme Court. He assumed office on March 20, 2019. His current term ends on December 31, 2026. Busby first became a member of the Texas Supreme Court when he was nominated by Gov. Greg Abbott (R) on February 21, 2019, to replace Phil Johnson (R). Busby was confirmed and sworn in on March 20, 2019.
