Biography
G. Helen Whitener is a judge for Position 6 of the Washington Supreme Court. She assumed office on April 24, 2020. Her current term ends on January 7, 2029. Whitener first became a member of the Washington Supreme Court when she was appointed by Gov. Jay Inslee (D) on April 13, 2020, to succeed former Justice Charlie Wiggins. The Washington State Supreme Court is the court of last resort in the state. It has nine judgeships.
