Chuck Grassley (Republican Party) is a member of the U.S. Senate from Iowa. He assumed office on January 3, 1981. His current term ends on January 3, 2029. Senate to represent Iowa. Grassley served as president pro tempore of the Senate from 2019 to 2021. He was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from 1975 to 1981 and a member of the Iowa House of Representatives from 1959 to 1974.
