Biography
Claudia Tenney was born in New Hartford, New York in 1961. She earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Colgate University in 1983 and a J.D. from Cincinnati University in 1987. Tenney's career experience includes working in the press office of the Consulate General of Yugoslavia, co-owning Mid-York Press, Inc., and working as an attorney. From 2011 to 2016, Tenney was a member of the New York State Assembly.
