Biography
Young was born was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, in 1972. He earned a bachelor's degree in political science from the United States Naval Academy in 1995, an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago in 2000, a master's degree in American politics from the University of London in 2001, and a J.D. from Indiana University in 2006. Young served in the United States Marine Corps from 1995 to 2000. He also worked as a lawyer, as a staffer to Sen. Richard Lugar (R), and as an assistant deputy prosecutor for Orange County. Young served in the United States House of Representatives from 2011 to 2017.
