Biography
Native Idahoan of pioneer great-grandparents; second generation Caldwellite. Graduated from Caldwell High School; attended the College of Idaho and graduated with honors from Northwest Nazarene University with a B.S. in business administration. Owned and operated family printing business for 12 years until 1999; worked various management positions for Albertsons; built two Ace Hardware stores for an Ace franchisee; served as Training Development Manager for MotivePower in Boise; retired at age 54. Served on Caldwell City Council in the mid-80s; served as Caldwell School Board member; former governor of the Utah-Idaho District of Kiwanis, chaired international committees, and was an international trainer. Recipient of International Circle of Service Award by Circle K International; Eagle Scout; served as scoutmaster, district chair, and board member for the Ore-Ida Council; recipient of Silver Beaver Award.
