Senator Donald Olson is a lifelong Alaskan born in Nome. He served in the Alaska State Medical Board after being appointed by Governor Knowles in 1995. His professional career spans several fields including medicine, aviation, and business. He has served as a member of the Alaska State Senate since 2001.
