Biography
Lorig Charkoudian was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and holds a B.A. in Mathematical Economics from Pomona College (1995) and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from The Johns Hopkins University (1997, 2001). Her professional experience includes serving as the executive director and trainer for the Community Mediation Program at the Safe and Smart Center, as an adjunct professor in the Legal and Ethical Studies Department at the University of Baltimore, and as the director of training and research for the Maryland Association of Community Mediation Centers. Since 2004, she has served as the executive director of Community Mediation Maryland. She was first elected to the Maryland House of Delegates in 2018 and has been a member since January 9, 2019.
