Lopez earned her B.B.A. and her MBA from the College of Santa Fe in 1987 and 1992, respectively. Her professional experience includes working as a recruiter for Presbyterian Healthcare Services and as the owner of Lopez Consulting. Lopez ran for Governor of New Mexico in the 2014 election.
