Biography
Born in North East, Maryland, on June 26, 1981, Kevin B. Hornberger graduated from Rising Sun High School in 1999. He is a Library of Congress Leadership Fellow and holds an Associate Degree in General Studies from Cecil College (2002). He earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the District of Columbia in 2010. He was a founding father of the Chi Phi Fraternity at the University of Maryland College Park. Professionally, he has served as the President and Owner of Blue Collar Engineer, Inc. since 2006, worked as the Chief Manufacturing Engineer for CloudSolar, Inc. from 2010 to 2012, and served as a Facility Manager at the Library of Congress from 2006 to 2023. He is a member of the Leadership Maryland Class of 2016 and the Cecil Leadership Institute Class of 2013.
