Biography

Representative Ann Kelley, a Republican, represents Barton, Dade, and parts of Jasper and Cedar counties (District 127) in the Missouri House of Representatives. She was elected to her first two-year term in November 2018. Prior to her legislative service, Kelley worked as an educator. For 13 years she worked as a middle school English Language Arts teacher with the Lamar School District. She also has owned and operated a licensed daycare. Kelley is a member of the Chambers of Commerce for Barton County, Sarcoxie, Lockwood, and Greenfield. She also is a member of the NRA, Missouri Farm Bureau, and the Missouri State Teachers Association. Kelley also serves as a board member for the Barton County Ambulance District. Kelley and her husband attend Oakton Church. A graduate of Liberal High School, Kelley attended Missouri Southern State University where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Middle School Science and English. She also obtained a master’s degree in Curriculum and Middle School Reading and Writing from Grand Canyon University.
