Councilor Ali Brown District 10 Ali Brown (Democrat) represents District 10. Councilor Ali Brown is a small business owner and nonprofit executive. She has spent a lifetime working to improve the lives of those around her, from HIV/AIDS education to being one of the leading experts in construction workforce development to helping seniors age in place happily and healthily. She’ll prioritize connecting innovation companies to our city so we can continue to grow and prosper, she’ll fight to improve our streets and infrastructure, and she’ll work to make childcare more affordable so everyone can participate in our economy. Ali currently serves as the Chair of the Council's Community Affairs Committee. Ali is proudly a resident of both Indy and Lawrence. They have one son, Dylan, and a dog named Franklin.
