Jessica McCormick

Biography
Councilor Jessica McCormick is District 16’s representative. She is a mom, engineer, and educator. Jessica has spent her career engaging youth in STEM fields, especially encouraging girls to pursue an education in engineering. She currently runs the dual engineering program between Butler University and IUPUI, a position she has held for 12 years. Jessica grew up in Evansville, Indiana, moved to Indianapolis to attend college, and has remained here ever since. She completed both her Bachelor of Science in Engineering (focus: engineering management) and her Master of Science in Technology (focus: engineering education) from the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology at IUPUI.
