John Barth

Biography
John Barth represents District 7 on the Indianapolis City-County Council and currently serves as Vice President. He chairs the Environmental Sustainability Committee. Barth first joined the Council in 2011 as an at-large member and was elected to represent District 7 in 2019. He was re-elected in 2023. A fifth-generation Indianapolis resident, Barth has a long history of community volunteerism. He serves on the Butler-Tarkington Neighborhood Association board and the Public Art for Neighborhoods Board, and is a former President of the Indy Reads Board.
