Biography
The City Clerk is an elected office currently held by Evelyn Lees, who began her first term in 2016. Her current term will expire December 31, 2027. The Clerk keeps the city seal, prepares agendas, takes minutes, and keeps all non-financial records for the Common Council, all Council committees, the Board of Public Works and Safety, and various boards and commissions. The Clerk is responsible for public advertisement of meetings and legal notices and assists the public with requests for information. The office manages city ordinances, resolutions, contracts, and Riverside Cemetery records. The Clerk also serves as the statutory Clerk of the Noblesville City Court.
