Sheila Niezgodski

Biography
Councilmember Sheila Niezgodski began her second term representing the Sixth (6th) District on January 1, 2024, and her first term as Common Council Vice President on January 5, 2026. Sheila and her husband David have enjoyed over 20 years of marriage and have loved living in their West Side home for 27 years. Councilmember Niezgodski is a proud Veteran of Foreign Wars, having served in the United States Army during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Her service included roles as a member of the Funeral Team/Honor Guard and a Telecommunications Center Operator at Fort Bragg, among others.
